Media Map (1c)

 

This is a media map representation of one of the previous profile portrait (1b). As I had attempted to present “Jenny” in a visual form, using maps, directive lines and paths to convey her ways of travel and openness, this media map shows her not just as her self as an individual, but as a consumer and the media that may be used to target her attention. This process is a visual form of research to try and understand how to connect to targeted consumers, via the markets that they fit into and the social patterns they may conform to. As apart of being a Communication Designer, it is our role to insure we can communicate the right messages, to the right people. Otherwise, design lacks meaning.
